Prior to joining Oceana in 2016, Laura worked for a homeless services agency in Baltimore, MD. During her tenure, Laura acted as database coordinator, helped to launch new peer-to-peer fundraising software, built an online giving presence, and helped to implement many development best practices and procedures. She looks forward to helping Oceana implement moves management and stewardship policies to increase major giving. Laura graduated cum laude from the College of Charleston in South Carolina with a degree in Art History. After graduating, she worked in development at an art museum on the eastern shore of Maryland. Laura grew up sailing and still enjoys spending weekends with her family on the water.
