Angie is the Campaign Fellow for Oceana’s Plastics Campaign. She is a recent graduate of Harvard College, where she completed a B.S. in Integrative Biology with a minor in History of Science.
Through her studies, and a summer internship with another marine protection organization in Guatemala, Angie fell in love with the ocean and was struck by the urgent need to change human systems and habits for the protection of all life on the planet. She then spent a year learning and practicing the craft of organizing with Green Corps, The Field School for Environmental Organizing, leading campaigns for food system sustainability and resilient, renewable, local energy systems. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, social dancing, and generally appreciating art.
