Ha has 18 years of experience in event planning, production and project management that spans the globe.
Her career began with the Asian Professional Golf Association where she was responsible for staging major golf events sponsored by multinational corporations throughout Asia, including the Omega Hong Kong Open, the Carlsberg Malaysian Open, the Singapore Caltex Masters, and the London Myanmar Open.
As a regional event manager for Bloomberg L.P., she conducted new product launches and programs throughout the Asia Pacific region, India, Australia and New Zealand before returning to Washington, DC in 2005.
She continued executing elite events to support the strategic goals of the organization which included the high-profile After Party following the White House Correspondents Dinner and working across multiple business units, to execute 24 high-level events over four days during the Democratic National Convention in 2012.
Ha loves the outdoors and has climbed, Mt. Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Machu Picchu (Peru), Na Pali Coast Trail (Hawaii) and Mt. Triglav (Slovenia). She completed the Oxfam MacLehose Trail (Hong Kong) and the Standard Chartered Marathon (Mumbai). Ha spent two years studying in Beijing and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Durham University, Durham England. She lives in Washington DC with her husband Justin.
