General Summary
Oceana seeks an intern with experience in scientific research and information management and a passion for the oceans. The intern will support initiatives to enhance the collaboration and sharing of knowledge and expertise among our 9 international offices and 45+ scientific staff. Working with the Deputy Chief Scientist and Science Associates, they will maintain Oceana’s information collection and management systems, including the education of new users about research and collaboration tools. They will also aid the Science and Strategy team in project coordination and responding to research requests.

Internships are paid, full-time in our Washington, DC office for a minimum of three months. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed periodically.
