Senior Director of Strategic Marketing

Oceana is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Marketing to raise Oceana’s global profile, expand the organization’s supporter base, and drive increased revenue from donors. This role demands an experienced leader with a strong data-driven mindset, who can create innovative marketing strategies that deliver results.

The Senior Director manages a team of five highly motivated individuals who oversee Oceana’s low-dollar and mid-level fundraising and digital advocacy programs, as well as the organization’s website, ecommerce, advertising, and social media strategies.

The ideal candidate is a strategic marketer with a proven track record of using data-driven approaches to maximize impact, enhance visibility, grow supporter bases, and increase revenue from donors.

This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC. Ten to 15 years of professional experience is required.

Oceana’s US offices have operated on a hybrid schedule and staff have been required to work from their assigned office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. With agreement between the employee and their supervisor, the employee may work from home Monday and Friday
