Alan joined Oceana as a Digital Content Intern in January 2026.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Alan spent his childhood exploring the beautiful Pacific coastline, which inspired his passion for environmental storytelling. He has worked on documentaries for PBS and created short‑form videos for UNICEF and UNDP. He is excited to combine his skills in digital video and international advocacy at Oceana, where he helps to run the organization’s YouTube channel.
