Delaney joined Oceana as a Communications Intern in February 2025.

Delaney is a recent graduate of the University of Tampa where she earned a B.S. in Marine Science – Biology and a minor in History. Prior to joining Oceana, her passion for translating science into strategic, accessible communications led her to pursue a variety of internship and freelance communications experiences with organizations such as Women In Ocean Science, Blue Frontier, the City of Tampa, and Biosean Whale Watching. She is excited to bring together her previous experiences and love for the ocean to contribute to Oceana’s communications work. Outside of work, Delaney enjoys traveling, anything outside, coffee, museums, and a good book.
