Florence holds a design degree from Parsons The New School and has spent more than 15 years working in graphic design in New York City across both the commercial and nonprofit sectors.

She is excited to begin a new chapter in the Washington area and contribute her design skills to work connected to one of her favorite places in the world: the sea. Design wise, she enjoys experimenting with collage and creative infographic design, and loves visiting exhibits focused on poster design and advertising work. Outside of work, she loves scuba diving, catamaran sailing, snowboarding, rollerblading and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
