Mei Lin joined Oceana as a Science & Strategy Research Assistant in January 2026.

She holds a B.S. in Marine Biology from UCLA. As an undergrad, she interned at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in the Department of Invertebrate Zoology, researching the biodiversity of the deep ocean through eDNA. In her free time, Mei Lin enjoys backpacking, climbing, reading, and crafting.
