Danica Glaser

Senior Counsel

Oceana Staff

Danica joined Oceana as Senior Counsel in May 2025.

She was previously a Law Fellow at Oceana in 2011-2012, and then spent 12 years at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division, bringing cases on behalf of EPA and other federal agencies to ensure clean air, water, and land. Danica graduated from Washington University in St. Louis (’03) with a degree in biology and religious studies, and worked as a field botanist for several years before attending Harvard Law School (’10), where she interned at Conservation Law Foundation and Earthjustice and was the editor-in-chief of the Harvard Environmental Law Review. Danica is originally from upstate New York (FLX!), and now lives outside DC with her husband, 2 kids, and shepherd mix. Her hobbies include fiction, crafting, trying new recipes, snorkeling, and travel planning (almost as much as the actual traveling).
