Ben Harper, who attended our annual Partners Award Gala on Saturday, made the following video about surfing, conservation and Oceana for Treehugger. He says: “They’re really making it happen. Oceana is extraordinary, they’re a group of scientists that work tirelessly in reversing the tide of ocean pollution, refortifying the ocean in polluted areas, and reversing the damage done, as well as to stop it.” And here’s a great detail: He says that for every shell his kids want to take from the beach, he asks them to find a piece of trash too.
