‘The Cove’ Opens Worldwide
BY: Emily Fisher
By now I’m sure you’ve heard about, and perhaps seen, the acclaimed documentary “The Cove”, which follows former dolphin trainer Ric O’Barry as he and a team of activists travel to Taiji, Japan to document the dark side of a billion dollar dolphin entertainment industry and an underhanded market for mercury-loaded dolphin meat. The film, which the New York Times described as “an exceptionally well-made documentary that unfolds like a spy thriller,” opened in New York and Los Angeles recently, but have no fear if you live elsewhere. Check out the upcoming screenings in your area, and spread the word!
