All you blue fashionistas, heads up: Last summer Barneys New York collected donated denim, and eight fashion designers, including Alexander Wang and Stella McCartney, created recycled denim outfits to be photographed for the May issue of Elle magazine. Now through May 10 (that’s Sunday), you can bid on the “Project Blue” outfits on eBay, and 100% of the proceeds go to Oceana. It’s a good mother’s day alternative to our symbolic sea creature adoption — that is, if your Mom is très, très chic.
