Introducing Julia Whitty

Julia Whitty is the author of the lead article in the March issue of Mother Jones Magazine, which focuses on the oceans. She is the first of four writers and editors from Mother Jones who will be guest-blogging for Oceana this week. Julia is also the author of the forthcoming book There Are Many Souls Embodied in Water: Tales from the Coral World. She has been making nature documentaries for 25 years, specializing in underwater films.
Tomorrow Author Michael W. Robbins guest-blogs for Oceana. Michael is the former editor of Audubon and Oceans magazines. His most recent book, The Hiking Companion, combines travel advice with tales of his own experiences on the major trails of North America.
