She is the first of four writers and editors from Mother Jones who will be guest-blogging for Oceana this week. Julia is also the author of the forthcoming book There Are Many Souls Embodied in Water: Tales from the Coral World. She has been making nature documentaries for 25 years, specializing in underwater films.
